The IPE Lab is a resource hub on CUNY Academic Commons dedicated to the design, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of interprofessional education (IPE) learning experiences within the various health professions education programs at CUNY.  A part of the Interprofessional Training and Education at Cornell-Hunter (ITEACH) project, IPE Lab was created to disseminate our experiences in IPE to date, inform our colleagues about new developments and resources available, and promote sustainable IPE models in CUNY health professions programs.

But most importantly, this site is meant to serve as an invitation, one that is meant for you.

• We invite you to learn and work with us towards an important goal—to integrate IPE in the curricula of our health professions programs and create partnerships between them, neighboring institutions, and the community around us to help our students learn the skills of their professions as part of interprofessional, collaborative teams.
• We invite you to help us design, implement, evaluate, and disseminate the outcomes of new, innovative pilot IPE projects.
• We invite you to join us on updating the curriculum in order to ensure IPE is included in sustainable & effective ways.
• We invite you to help “break down the silos.”

Will you join us?

No CUNY Commons registration is needed—-at the end of each module, there is a page where you can print (or take a screenshot of) your certificate of completion, as well as a copy of your responses to open-ended questions. Please use a desktop or laptop device for this, as each item is presented as a pop-up window. Alternatively, click the lock icon next to the URL in your browser’s address bar and check to make sure the site’s pop-up permissions are set to ‘Allow’.
